i always loved alternate uses and gimmicks like this for characters
i have a thing like that too, my main guy can detach his head and limbs (they're like magnetic or whatever) and has two main head variations, one being the "standard" one that can switch into an aerodynamic mode for when he flies, and one that doesn't have that but instead stores a comcealed cannon and minigun inside and can stick one of those at a time out of his mouth, and both weapons can accept anything that fits (including grenades, for the cannon only), and because he's pretty light (50 kg) a strong enough person could ask him nicely and he'll let them pick him up and use him as a weapon (and because it's OP scifi alien tech, a REALLY good weapon)
