idea 2: tiny mimic fish that disguises itself as bigger fish by hiding in the dark and trying its absolute hardest to look like the eyes or general front of the big scary fish it's mimicking to scare off predators

This is a carnivorous species of electro eels that uses its natural electrical energy to lure in prey. It is twice the size and length of a typical electric eel

maybe it can also use electricity to find said prey

can we get some info on the parameters of the oceans?
for example things like max depth, any unique terrain formations, what life does already exist, composition of the atmosphere (for creatures that can briefly survive above water, like, flying fish skimmer type things), and stuff like that
obviously i don't expect all of this to be already done, just a basic general something that we can build off of

how similar do you want it to be to earth life? i could obviously just go with "blobfish but blue" but that would be a bit too easy

hey, sorry i'm late, i'm just too busy with my own stuff
i only really had one idea, that being a vaguely octopus-like creature that resides near underwater thermal vents (iirc those emit lots of minerals and healthy nutrients and stuff and whatever, not sure though) and positions itself above them when its hungry so it can catch the nutrients using an open cylindrical net-like formation on its bottom that can expand and contract and it also uses that as its main way of moving when it isn't consuming
