no one needs to know that I read Ernest Hemingway and brave new world

Since when is reading Ernest Hemingway books frowned upon? We read a couple of them in high school.

...Actually, come to think of it, I think we exclusively read banned books back when I was in high school. The Kite Runner, The Things They Carried, Of Mice And Men, Fahrenheit 451, Siddhartha, and yes, The Old Man And The Sea, to name a few.

I know, but I'm in middle school :)
there's nothing wrong with them, it's just I think I look kinda nerdy. like what 8th-grade girl reads books like "The Sun Also Rises"?
also, I just read Of Mice and Men and it was really good :)

I don't actually remember if we read The Sun Also Rises, to be honest, but Of Mice And Men was excellent.
