I've been in that situation twice where I could both feel and see it happen for my eyes. It can be a scary experience, I gotta admit, and it leaves your adrenaline pumping for at least 2 hours after the fact(if it's in a severe case like me).

Okay seriously, while people may joke about it, an earthquake can be a scary experience(just ask me, I've been through 2 big ones that lasted 2 seconds each) to go through, especially alone. If you live in a place like California, that might be a bit of a earthquake hazard, because they happen so often. If you ever find yourself in a situation that's like what you experienced but in greater intensity and longer duration, follow standard earthquake proceedures.

you got it. btw it lasted like 7 seconds, at first 3 seconds i felt it, the last 4 it intensified, that sent fear everywhere in my body

luckily I don’t think so, I also didn’t hear any structural collapse, I heard a car alarm, (I live in a quiet place)
