yeah, so many mascot horror games nowadays are just the same thing with mild changes:
- random company/institution doing shady research in the 80's and 90's, finds weird powder/serum/magic go-go juice/whatever, uses it to create mascots
- mascots become sentient and evil, begin to eat/kill/assimilate/mind control/whatever random kids and/or workers
- company/institution is shut down because of the safety and ethical violations
- several years later some hobo (as the player) is contacted by a former worker (possibly also the CEO or other higher-up, now very old) to come explore the now abandoned building of the company/institution
- there, the mascots still function in perfect condition ("no scratches, no dents, no wear, no dust, 150k no lowballers ik what i got") and are more thirsty for blood than ever before
- the player visits and explores the building, and there's probably gonna be an overflow of the thing that makes the mascots work (almost certainly gotta be at least ONE broken pipe with the stuff oozing out of it)
- the mascots will keep randomly trying to hunt the player down while they search for pictures of the CEO's suspiciously behaving daughter (and other relatives) to piece together the lore that the whole thing was some kind of government made plan to control the population or whatever
