Yea, they probably call blackberries black raspberries because they have the same shape.

While I can't prove this, I think what happened is that some colorblind guy picked up a raspberry and said, "I found a blue raspberry," and his friends were too polite to tell him that it was, in fact, just a raspberry.

Also, there's not only no such thing as blue raspberries, but there aren't even really any naturally blue foods in the first place.
