No worries, The post is about public school. Its a shadowy place of politics, bullying, anxiety, drama, abuse and boredom. It robs children of years of precious time and healthy mental development. Homeschooling done right has children graduating grade 12 when they are 14 or 15yr old max. Then, they have all the time in the world to pursue their dreams.
What I gather is that you are not being taught by your parents with your brothers and sisters.
You are in an online program with a curriculum generated from a public school. Correct?
If the time you work is varied, then it has no structure and you will feel unstable at times and frustrated as well. Thats not real homeschooling.
Real homeschooling has a fairly strict learning structure at set times every day, with parents and siblings learning together, building strong bonds with each other that is so valuable in todays society. Making memories with siblings and learning at the same time, siblings helping each other out with school from time to time, eating together..etc. its the healthies safest way for children to learn. Hands down.
