Well, Russia was almost certainly the motivating factor behind the Iran-supplied Hamas attack. Russia wants to divert our attention & aid away from Ukraine, and wants to divide our country and plunge it in to chaos. No better way than to help get an idiot installed as our president, as they did in 2016.
That being said, the Israeli response is criminal, as well. There are two groups who share the same land, and must work together and equally govern the area.
