People didn't know it, but there's geologic evidence

2015 - UN officials state they will use Global Warming as a tool to redistribute the wealth of the world...

UN officials need to distribute trees not wealth.

Tress=wood=paper=money. Sounds like wealth to me bro.

Only for the guy selling the trees.

Money is made of a cotton and linen blend blend of fabric.

Some speculate that if co2 levels hit 500, lakes and rivers could return to Africa

Then this could create more plant life to absorb, convert, and contain carbon dioxide, cooling the planet in the process, and perhaps ending starvation in many African countries?

Sounds like win-win situation to me.

Starting to catch on. They're keeping it low on purpose

The simple answer:

It is not

Yes it has. Perhaps you don't understand the severity of 2 degrees F (or 1 degree C) of change, but it literally has.

Ok, you climatologist you...I'll lend ear.

Explain how a total of 2 degrees in temperature increase in the last 124 years translates to a 3 degree annual average global temperature rise.

Then illuminate me with the understanding of the severity of a 2 degrees increase in global temperature. What it means to the planet's flora and fauna.

Please use layman's terms so my simple mind is extended every equitable opportunity to understand.

I await your prompt reply.

*50% of that. According to Wikipedia, the current atmospheric co2 level is 421 ppm, up from 280 ppm prior to the mid 18th century. Check your facts.

No. My facts say 400 ppm.

I am waiting on a left leaning "climatologist" to explain how a total of 2 degrees of temperature increase over the last 174 years translates to an increase of 3 degrees in average global temperatures annually.

Two stories are of particular interest... one involving a study of the earth's tree growth over the past decade... including the fact that there are more trees now and the greatest increases are in India and China... you know... the places that are using fossil fuels... trees love CO2 and more trees = lower temps... the second story involves an underwater volcano that erupted in 2022, spewing a massive amount of water into the stratosphere (largest eruption ever recorded in human history)... resulting in higher temps and more flooding (what goes up going to come back down). Of course, the media would rather attribute the slight rise in temps in 2023 to humans instead of telling the truth about the volcano...

Okay...sounds legit.

Trees do love their CO2 and humans do love the O2 the trees "exhale".

And trees do cool the air through a process similar to the way a "swamp cooler" works.

Trees are the reason rural areas are cooler than urban areas.

I read something about trees experiencing increased growth in higher CO2 environment use consume less water.

I think there were 72 confirmed volcano eruptions in 2023 alone.

That's a lot of CO2...among other pollutants.

The Earth's gonna do what the Earth's gonna do.

How boring.

I have heard many a leftist say:

"Correlation does not equal causation"

Here I return the phrase.

Ice formed during prolonged periods of low CO2.

They have measured CO2 concentrations trapped in bubbles in the currently remaining ice to "estimate" or "infer" the historic atmospheric levels.

This raises two questions requiring consideration:

1) What caused the ice age glaciers that covered the globe to begin melting in the absence of high levels of atmospheric CO2?

2) What happened to the CO2 that had long been trapped in the glacial ice that covered the globe?

(My own hypotheses are withheld)
