you can't really blame them

Nintendo doesn't own the capture of creatures, and all of the extremists need to calm down and realize that Palworld is not just "Pokemon with guns". If anything, it's more like Ark than it is Pokemon, but people just look at the pictures for 3 seconds and immediately say "Oh, this is a Pokemon rip-off" without actually knowing anything.

Similar character designs happen, and is nearly impossible to avoid it since there's over 1,000 games out there. People just need to deal with it.

Palworld has not been confirmed to have committed copyright. We can't just scream that it was a copy without even having any evidence, and we especially cannot send *probably* good people death threats for making a game.

the thing is though, tht they dont own the whole "gotta catch monsters" thing. they own pokemon. there's a difference

Similar names and identical names happen all the time as well. For example, in Kathryn Lasky's book series Wolves of the Beyond, the bear and owl heavens were named Ursaluna and Glaumora, and later on Pokemon made Pokemon named Ursaluna and Glimmora. And also, I haven't heard of a single Pal with a name that was similar to any Pokemon's. And if any were similar in the slightest, it would most likely be due to name origins coming from the same Latin, greek, etc root.
