Yeah about that - there's nothing wrong with studying, research, and having a viewpoint as a lay person. . .but trying actually do something with that knowledge without proper qualifications and training is a whole other issue. It'd be like studying medicine and anatomy at home then trying to do open heart surgery on someone.
