Or Perceforest, an Aurthurian tale that was anonymously published between 1330 and 1434. Humans have been telling each other stories for 100's of 1000's of years. We've been writing them down for 1000s of years. To think that anyone can come up with a completely original idea that has never been told before is foolish.

The best you can hope for is tell a story in an entertaining way.
