Some things specifically I have noticed:
You MUST MARK NSFW. There was one trend going around that had the word "f**k" in it that was consistently unmarked. Check. The. Post. I don't personally mind cursing but we HAVE to be considerate of people who do.
READ THE ENTIRE POST BEFORE YOU APPROVE. Many, many, WAY TOO MANY TIMES have I seen secretly homophobic/transphobic/enbyphobic meme slip through as they were disguised, and you guys approved them because you didn't read the text.
Filter out random memes that aren't lgbtq related! Those sonic posts were funny, yes, but they weren't related to anything we do here.
Bingos, trends, picrew, announcements, are all allowed, but unrelated shitposts that should be in another stream need to be filtered out.
If a post is breaking ANY I'd the rules-- I can't believe I have to freaking say this-- DO. NOT. APPROVE IT!! Read all of the rules!! All of them!! If you can't handle that, you clearly do not deserve moderation privileges.
Moderation is not just a badge that says "I've been here a long time!" It is something important that takes care of this stream and protects it from homophobes and trolls. You can be a wonderful, active user, and still not be a good mod.
This is all I could think of right now, but if these changes are not made, we will seriously have to cut quite a few moderators.
