STEALING IN THE STUDIOπ

wwwWWWEELLCOME BACK FOLKS TO A DEL STORYTIME βΌοΈ for those of u who are new to this we are going to start off with some β¨background informationβ¨ first... for the past 13 years i have been dancing at a small dance studio. at the end of 2022, the ownership transferred to two millennials, one who had been dancing at the studio basically since it was invented. as time went on from there, many people started complaining about money missing. soon in mid 2023 it was discovered that a 5th grader at the time (we'll name her Cee) had been stealing everyone's money. oh btw it wasnt like 1 dollar bills or anything no she took like $40 each from like anyone who had that much. the stealing was so bad that my friend had to get a LOCK for her bag, and we all had to put our bags in the studios (the classrooms basically) so we wouldnt have to worry abt things being taken while we were in class.
oh btw, i totally predicted it was Cee because there was already speculation abt her or some random 6th grade guy doing the stealing, plus one time money went missing while we were all in rehearsal and Cee was just randomly there for no reason like she had zero rehearsals that day it was so weird
anyways Cee got caught but for some reason the owners let her stay π idk why
So over time people's things were starting to go missing too. It wasnt really money anymore, but instead specific items like expensive clothing, DANCE SHOES (that is NASTY), SOCKS?!!?!?!?, and sweatpants. i think jewelry too but i might be mistaken but like i wouldnt be surprised.
so finally today was a regular ballet class. we were at barre when this random girl i will call Abby runs in and says "MY SWEATPANTS ARE MISSING" and so we were all told to check our bags. ofc the sweatpants were nowhere in sight. so instantly everyone started coming forward to my teacher, who was also the co owner, and told her abt all the clothes in the past that went missing. many people from Cee's level were missing sweatshirts, flannel pants, and socks. people in the highest level were missing more expensive things, such as dance shoes, higher quality sweatshirts and sweatpants, and apparnetly one time Abby was going to borrow a lululemon tank crop top from these two girls but BEFORE SHE COULD EVEN TAKE IT HOME SOMEONE TOOK IT. and everyone was so confused bc these were such specific items ππ
