A couple years ago I was involved in a meeting with some climate specialists & environmental analysts. It was one of the most aneurysmic experiences of my life... and that's saying a lot really if you've knew the types of things I get sucked into.
But anyway, they were saying -and I quote- "all the models say this should not be happening. But it's happening. Why is it happening?"
What was happening was that the CO2 levels in the areas under review were at their highest in decades, and the vegetation was growing at exponential rates... literal tree experts confused at why trees are growing faster and stronger in high CO2 regions because the man-made computer-generated prediction model said it's not supposed to happen. This was a private meeting, not something that would ever be released to the public. It was actual "scientist" completely baffled at why and how CO2 levels were impacting forest growth.
