Hörverstehen ist im Deutschen nicht immer einfacher als Lesen, da es Dialekte gibt und noch nicht mal alle Wörter umgangssprachlich einheitlich sind. Zum Beispiel: Ardäppel (zu gut Deutsch Erdapfel) meint Kartoffel, heißt übersetzt aber "Ground Potato", ähnlich wie das französische "Pomme de terre" (f**k them accents). Nu jut, lass ma dess nu mal. Nur ein kleines Beispiel.
