Windows 10 users with KB5034441 update failure need to manually resize partitions to fix the problem
https://betanews.com/2024/01/12/windows-10-users-with-kb5034441-update-failure-need-to-manually-resize-partitions-to-fix-the-problem/

When Microsoft released the recent KB5034441 update for Windows 10, the aim was to fix a security vulnerability that could allow attackers to bypass BitLocker encryption by using Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE). Unfortunately, the update itself proved problematic for many users.

There is, sadly, no quick and easy fix; partition resizing is needed, and it's something that users will have to perform manually. Microsoft provides instructions to manually resize your partition to install the WinRE update.

It's a joke. Not every individual will know how to accomplish this and never do it. Microsoft needs to clean up its act. Thank heavens, I can use Linux. I'm aware that not everyone is a Linux user, but I've simply had a year to get used to it and have been rather pleased with it. Though I am aware that no operating system is flawless, the Linux communities I have interacted with have been beneficial. I do have to remind individuals occasionally that assisting others attracts new people.

A big shame on Microsoft.
They must improve and do a much better job.
They keep hiring the wrong and unqualified people.

I think its important to recognize that Microsoft probably only made at least fifty billion dollars profit in the last year, so not being able to deliver updates that work or fixes that are straightforward for users to apply shouldn't come as a surprise.
