There is literally no evidence that God exists other than a book but ig it's good to have something like a God for ppl to have faith and hope or whatever like something to turn to when life feels like shit

This is how I view it (people can have their own views, but here's mine)

Religion is a good morale boost. For example, feel like no one loves you? There's this almighty being that does. Fear death? Don't worry, be a good person and there's paradise after death. Feel like everything bad is happening to you? Yeah, there's an ancient evil that's been doing that.

So being religious and non-religious has it's ups and downs, but for now I'll just say that God could exist, but he probably doesn't.
