Please elaborate on what a fake fnaf fan is

What do you consider a "fake fan" of FNAF?

I think it’s like the new comers and those nasty gacha things

Tbh I don't really think there's such thing as being a fake fan of anything. You can be a FNAF fan who recently joined the fandom, but you're still a real fan. You can be a FNAF fan who's never touched a game, but you're still a real fan. They could have seen the movie and want the join the fandom, they could have chosen to only read the books, they could have watched a video online.

And if you're somebody who ships things that are kind of problematic... still a fan.

I have a bootleg Psychic Friend Fredbear, 2 FNAF shirts, The wave 1 action figure set(customized), A foxy mask made by myself, a doc for all my theories about FNAF, FNAF related mods for both Source Filmaker and Garry’s Mod, Springtrap for Rivals of Aether is literallly the only character I play as, I draw a lot of supposedly scary and/or gory pictures of FNAF characters, I play some FNAF related Roblox games sometimes, I play FNAF fangames, I even made a concept for a custom figure of my Friend’s animatronic persona, one of my friends made Pirate Cove and a cupcake the size of my palm (yeah I am the more serious one among my friend group).

I would say I am a true FNAF fan

i think i'm a real fan, i don't buy merch often but i've been following since i was 5 or 6

I love the lore want the games and want some of the plushies

same i bean here bean with since i was 7 and played fnaf 1,2,4, and 5

am i a "real" or "fake" fnaf fan by looking at my subitions?

I have fnaf games 1 to sister location, two springtrap shirts, a springtrap hat, a security breach hoodie, all of the fazbear frights books, the whole novel trilogy, the coloring book, the encyclopedia, fnaf poster and I have 4 fnaf plushies and 3 more that I'm getting soon.
