Dante was laying down on a shore, similar to when he arrived in that windy area, in where he fought Libidine. However, the water was a deep red, and there was no wind. The air was unnaturally still.
Dante tried walking along the sandy dunes, which looked like a blueish-gray in the moonlight. Strange, considering… the moon was red. However, no matter how far Dante walked, a strange force kept him from going no further than 200 feet from that red lake. Dante approached the lake, and upon further inspection, he found that this water was not a super-delicious fruit punch like he’d expected, but rather… blood. It seemed sort of obvious now, considering what he’d been through before, but…
Suddenly, he saw a bubble come up from the lake. That meant there was someone down there.

Dante was surprised, and tried looking around to find where that voice came from. He soon realized it came from his own mind. He was being spoken to telepathically.
