Considering the political Left's effort to make George Orwell's 1984 the new reality, I'd say that all patriotic citizens remaining armed . . . is a good idea.

I can't speak for the extreme left, but 99% of democrats aren't socialist / communist. Also please consider that the left has become a lot less totalitarian then the right in recent times. If you want an example of 1984-esque goals, look at the right policing women and trans people's bodies.

I can't believe you said that. It was a big deal in the news last year. There was -- for a brief span of time -- a federal office that was designed to regulate speech and weed out 'disinformation'. Of course it was the political Left that was going to decide what was or was not disinformation. It was a BIG news item until the court said to the Biden Administrations . . . NOT YOUR ARE NOT.
