Yes like what was he thinking in the first place I personally would have tacked on the word animal or better yet clean animal since that was a pretty big deal but nah he just threw around some words and had to deal with the consequences

Indeed. He wisely honored his promise to God, but he had also raised his daughter well. She didn't force, or even ask him to break his oath to God. Great courage there.

Yeah but also can you imagine the bravery that took to tell your father to keep his promises even tho it meant your demise
