The Sun neither rises nor sets. Those are illusions caused by observations made from a set place on the Earth which is rotating as it orbits the Sun.
People are selfish, by nature. A baby does not survive by sharing with members of the "Tribe." In fact, the baby thinks the "Tribe," exists to keep it alive. Behaviorists have posited that a baby will assume that its family members are good and others are a possible threat. Tribalism is taught but reinforced by difficulties encountered in survival.
History teaches that the worst lies are the ones we tell ourselves.
The Latin word Propagare is the root word for "Propaganda," It is neither positive nor negative. It simply means "to disseminate." A science teacher and a preacher disseminate different stories concerning the same phenomena. Any pejorative is the product of perspective/bias.
