I was raised by two Rock-Ribbed Republican parents. My late brother, Jim, who was my personal hero was a Conservative Republican who was an "electronic spy," on the Chinese for the NSA, when he was in the Air Force. My Father was an early (1950s) computer engineer who always had a "side hustle" and bought a small business when his employer went bankrupt. I became a Democrat because of the influence of the John Birch Society with California Republicans, when I was young. Like Joe Biden, LBJ was a pro-worker Capitalist who saw the Cold War as our best chance to let off political steam and avoid a Nuclear WWIII, which led to the Vietnam War. I have voted for a handful of Republicans in the past. Christie would not be a horrible choice, if the Republican Party was still a Moderate-Right instead of an extremist dominated organization. If Donald Trump loses 2024 for the GOP, which appears more likely every day, Christie would not be a bad choice for them in 2028. For now, I am 100% for "Biden '24."
