I became a Democrat because of the influence of the John Birch Society with California Republicans, when I was young. Like Joe Biden, LBJ was a pro-worker Capitalist who saw the Cold War as our best chance to let off political steam and avoid a Nuclear WWIII, which led to the Vietnam War. I have voted for a handful of Republicans in the past. Christie would not be a horrible choice, if the Republican Party was still a Moderate-Right instead of an extremist dominated organization. If Donald Trump loses 2024 for the GOP, which appears more likely every day, Christie would not be a bad choice for them in 2028. For now, I am 100% for "Biden '24."
