They're bad, I try my best to expose them and/or deal with them.

It depends on what about them is questionable. As long as they aren't disrespecting boundaries or promoting illicit activity, it would be hard to call them bad. That said, there's a difference between being socially awkward while struggling to find a niche, and harassing people who have made it clear they don't want you to engage them.

I suppose there are some interests so abhorrent to most sensibilities that they alone are sufficient to make the person who holds them persona non grata in polite company, irrespective of their actual conduct. I find myself pushed into that camp in certain contexts. When a community reaches a consensus that it would be happier without me, I'm glad to serve the greater good by removing myself. Not sure if this is a good fix all the time, but it's always worked for me.

I'm thinking like, people who are into super weird and gross fetishes like vore, which i've seen them try to expose that stuff to children

That does show highly questionable judgement. Posting memes that don't violate rules (i.e. allowable content, appropriate stream, tagged nsfw) feels like live and let live, but going out of the way to expose kids to niche interests is bad both for the kids and the furry community at large. Furries are under enough scrutiny already and fair or not, any questionable conduct reflects poorly on everyone.

If someone is already into weird fetish stuff that's a little different but this isn't the greatest platform to explore it.

Oh. I feel it's less about content than venue. If it's on a site designed for adults I'd put the problem on the kids being there. If it's a site specifically for children then there's no excuse for pushing adult-type content. Of course content that breaks the law is inappropriate in any context. And knowingly going out of the way to traumatize children is fxcked up, even on a site where such content is allowed.

I often wonder what hard lines there are between "situationally acceptable" and "categorically intolerable" interests. I mean, forcing personal taste on someone is bad even if it's not controversial subject matter. And I personally view consent as a hard boundary, so any non-consensual adult-oriented activity is a hard no no matter what. Exploitation of children is another hard no. Beyond that...I tend to feel like anything goes as long as it's consensual, but maybe I'm wrong. I just feel that everything is going to disgust someone, so judging something based on whether or not it's disgusting really depends on the audience. It's just a matter of finding a willing audience.

Consider how many people find furries disgusting. They're entitled to their opinion but that doesn't obligate furries to keep themselves hidden. Same thing goes for people who hate garlic, or country music, or rainbows, or whatever. Those things aren't going away and the people who like them aren't going away either. As long as neither party goes out of their way to cross paths with the other, there shouldn't be a problem.

You make a point about what to do about questionable people. Ideally the communities police themselves, soliciting outside enforcement if necessary. There are genuine creeps in any demographic and bad actors going unchecked is everyone's problem. Jeffrey's a good example. Dude seems to thrive off ignoring boundaries, and gets punted for it every time. Doesn't stop him from coming back, but it minimizes the damage he causes.
