Also LGBTQ+ people are fine birdby, we are not homophobic or that junk we just don't agree with the general idea of being able to change your gender. God made you perfectly and does not see any flaws in you. Changing your gender goes against God's plan. That is why, also we don't oppress crap! We get persecuted all the time! Also. I did a quick google search and as it turns out, they did not tell people to kill gay people, they just exercised their right to free speech and said their thoughts, which may be wrong.

I do believe that killing other people is wrong, but I also think that if they are just saying things, they are doing no harm to those people at all, similar to how a threat is just a threat until it becomes an action.

Thx, btw, this language is in reference to the laws for where they were from. Christians and Catholics nowadays adhere to the main laws, Ten Commandments etc, and they interpret the rules and laws with things that would be relevant to society in today’s culture. The Bible says that, however, most Christian’s don’t adhere to murder, so don’t hate on religions just because of something they did two thousand years ago.

Again, that goes back to ancient times and religious beliefs. They did kill people back then when that kind of thing was not normalized or common, but when it started becoming more popular, they put less restrictions on it, they mainly kept the Bible as a basic set of rules (don’t kill, steal, etc.), and don’t adhere to all the rules of them nowadays

God did not write the Bible, but his disciples did. They used his words and the Ten Commandments, as well as what he told Adam and Eve and a written source of rules for the Christian people. Read genesis, it talks about gods rules for Adam and Eve.

Birdy, you can look at the bible from a literal view or try to understand what it actually means today. From the non-literal view it means that God will put these men to death himself. By judging them and sending them to hell.

Because we have invented new things and began to run society differently, so new rules would apply. God never said anything about guns because they didn’t exist when the Bible was written, so does that mean we should use guns for whatever we want? No. We should use logic and reasoning to use our new inventions and societal constructs within good intentions and morals.

Yeah, if there is a religion you should be mad at, (I’m not discriminating, just showing facts) choose Islam. Extremists in Palestine and Saudi Arabia literally kill people of other religions and lgbtq people. Islamic extremists are arguably worse for society than christians

You didn’t say both, you said specifically conservative Christian’s, because they affect your life. The question I would ask is, are YOU lgbtq or in a minority category? If so, some of this argument may be justified, but if not, they don’t affect you, they simply disagree with you.

They are using their beliefs to bring America back to its original Christian/Catholic state, where we used religious beliefs to form the constitution. They are trying to bring America back to what it was before, a country that thrived under pressure, and a world power. Now other country lies just laugh at us.

Christians and other religions are not oppressive, they believe that others lifestyles are not moral, and not right, but it doesn’t oppress anyone. People who say that they are oppressed by Christians are just offended that someone else disagrees with them, it’s a very cowardly thing to play dirty by claiming that someone who disagrees with their life choices are oppressing them.

I assume that the control what women do with their bodies is referring to abortion, which is a separate argument. As of the rest of the comment, Christians try to pass laws to return America to its former glory, when all of this wasn’t a problem in society for people to argue about. They simply want to overturn Roe vs Wade because it is 1) against their religion, and 2) another way that people nowadays can not be held responsible for their actions.
