Fays journey chapter 3: a maze of a forest (and not the one from Mario rpg)

What does Fay even look like?

Is she the one who gets it in chapter five or four?

*Zevver emerged from his drop pod*
The area around the pod was full of charred wood and broken soil from the impact. Zevver had landed somewhere that was relatively close to the nearby cities
Zevver: well let’s hope that nobody is after me right now, although I guess being part of an organization that no longer exists and also having a kill count in the billions would make me incredibly wanted.
He walked through the forest for a little bit until stopping at some footprints. Beside them was what was left of a squirrel, presumably eaten by an animal but there count more to it.
*zevver moved his hand open towards the bones*
The bone and blood from the dead squirrel rose to the air forming two small liquidy spheres. Then the spheres turned to strands weaving together until they were gone.
On the ground lay a small creature, a new life created from the dead squirrel

The creature that was created beaded a lot of resemblance to a mosquito except for instead of draining blood from creatures it would inject poison
Zevver: ok…now where to go-
*zevver was cut off by the sound of a tree being shot through*
He turned around to find some kind of bounty hunter after him who was wielding an explosive plasma cannon
Hunter: man, who would’ve thought they’d pay me so much for a target with no weapons
Zevver: no weapons, huh
suddenly the little fly-creature zoomed towards the hunter injecting poison, paralyzing him
*zevver rushed up with his arm as a bone sword and ended the fight only moments after it began

Fay and kinyani were eating breakfast in front of the inkla manor
Kinyani: so where will you go next on your journey?
Fay: I don’t really know but I heard something about some ruins that were discovered in the forest recently
Kinyani: I don’t remember Reading anything about that on the news
Fay: well it might have also been hard to find through all the other news recently
Kinyani: true
*teblitt and a crab creature walk up to them*
Teblitt: hi Fay
Fay: hi, who’s the crab guy?
Teblitt: oh that’s Gerald, he was offering me a job on a market ship that pays well, and gives me access to a personal spacecraft, so I came to tell you I was going there
Fay: well if you ever get a chance you can come visit
Teblitt: thanks
*he says goodbye to Fay and walks back away*
Kinyani: Fay, before you set out to the woods, I have something for you

It was a strange glove with some attachment to it, alongside another glove this one lacking the attachment
*fay put both gloves on*
Kinyani: close your right hand
*fay closed her right hand and a blade emerged from the glove*
Fay: whoah
Kinyani: it’s for you to keep
Fay: thank you, I’m going to get going now
Kinyani: good luck on your journey
*fay left*

Fay: so if I remember what the article said, the temple was at an newly discovered offshoot of a river, but why river
*fay checked a map seeing that a river flowed into the nearby city*
Fay: well it’s probably that one
*she hiked through the forest along the river*
Strangely the water seemed clearer than river water should be
Fay stopped
There was an offshoot of the river with a stone arch above it, the rest behind it was obscured by bushes and greenery
Fay: that’s probably it
*she went through the arch and onward*

Fay saw in front of her a stone temple with water coming out of it, it was a spring of sorts that had a large and ornate tapestry above it depicting waves and bubbles
Fay: who knew this was here
Suddenly she heard a noise
???: ah so this is where you were
Fay: who said that
???: I can’t tell you that, plus you won’t be able to give that information away In a moment
*zevver jumped into sight attempting to slash Fay with his sword arm but missed*
*fay readied her magic*
Fay: your not gonna like this
*she blasted a beam of heat at zevver*
Zevver stood there, less burned than you would expect
Zevver: that really wasn’t all I thought it would be
*he attempted to slash again but his attack was blocked by Fays gauntlet sword*
*fay shot a radiant blast at him*
Zevver: oh well I can’t see, guess I need new eyes
*zevvers eyes seemingly disappeared then came back*
the fighting continued until fay saw with the corner of her eye, an figure watching
Too distracted by the figure, Fay was knocked to the ground
Zevver: well that was a bit tougher than expected
He was about to strike Fay but was interrupted when he was washed away by flooding water

When Fay opened her eyes she was still in the temple and the figure was in front of her
???: you should be safe, he won’t be able to come back here
Fay: thank you, just a question though, what is this place and who are you?
???: well…
