For context, otherkins are a group of people who for some reason think that they are animals. Despite everything wrong with identifying as an animal, deveral woke hippies have come to their defense. And ironically enough, several of them are woke atheists who hate people for being religious.

Sl basically they think that Christianity is evil but identyfing as an animal should be accepted.

Otherkin is a mental illness and yet wole atheists tell us to "let people enjoy things" instead of taking them to a mental hospital.

Meanwhile they think that having a religion is the ultimate evil.

People like them is why mental hospitals exist.

They do think their animals

And yes it is a mental illness because aside from making them act abnormal it is preventing them from living a normal life aside from being psychogically damaging. Plus many only do it for attention, which is why they choose "cool" animals like wolves or tigers (sometimes even mythical creatures which are not real) and not creatured like tapeworms or flies.
