A georgist is a single-taxer, meaning tax land only. It's the same thing advocated by the classical economists but Henry George made the idea so famous when he was alive and due to his books about it, people who advocate it are called "georgists".
Socialists want to say he was a socialist and that, for various reasons, we have to interpret his explanations differently than the way he did.
