Big deal. Maui had a fire. I live in California; we burn every time the Santa Ana’s kick up.

If it makes you feel better, we have a condo on Maui. Lahaina burned that quickly because the locals treat their property like shit. It was a tinderbox waiting to go up in flames. All of the wood is rotted. The roofs are crap. Introduce a fire source and the wind, and it was a recipe for disaster. I’ve been going to Hawaii for 52 years. I own property on the Big Island too. This isn’t about one-upping anyone; it’s about quashing the conspiracy that the government let Lahaina burn. Anyone who has been to Hawaii during the past 30 years will tell you about the extreme poverty there, & will confirm how dilapidated everything is outside of the tourist areas. Homelessness is rampant. There are even massive tent cities everywhere.
