Fr 1 & 2 are both phenomenal games

sure i think tlou 1 was better tlou 2 has better combat.
but tlou 1 had the general vibe

If I had to choose then it would be 1. 2’s story made me very confused and other emotions that I don’t know how to describe especially the ending, but don’t get me wrong it was still a great story

I've heard of fallout, but never played it. I hear occasional references to it, though. Could you perchance explain some of it to me?

I’ve only played 4 so I can only explain that one.
On October 23rd, 2077 nuclear bombs drop while the main protagonist (you) get in a vault underground. You then enter cryostasis with your wife and baby son and after a while the cryostasis is deactivated and your wife is shot and your child is kidnapped as you watch helplessly. The main plot of the game is to find your son in the irradiated nuclear wasteland. It goes deeper than this but that’s all I’m gonna explain for now
