Great pose! She has drawn this character one other time, but the contrast between two highlights different moods Shrek experiences, yet both are pulled off expertly. In her later work, Shrek appears joyous and welcoming, but here, he seems quite sulky and irritable, but this master of her craft manages to pull off both with ease. I like that more of his full body is visible here as opposed to her later one, which didn't reveal his tights or boots. The plants in the backdrop are marvellous, and his scowl is remarkable. I love when she draws animated film characters whether I've seen their respective films or not because it is clear how much she pays attention and studies her favourite characters.
