Cool idea and I somewhat agree but it would be hard to do and probably won’t happen.

I assuming they made absolutely sure that you couldn’t access pro features unless you’ve paid for it. So they probably would have to go into the servers and change it so every single account has pro, which would take an extremely long time to do.
Let’s say you didn’t have to do that. Imgflip limits some features to pro users because some of them can take up bandwidth (large files like videos with sound will do that), so the reason you pay them is so they can buy more bandwidth with that money.
So giving everyone pro would make it hard for the developers to make money because nobody is paying them and nobody is being shown ads. (Companies will pay other companies small amounts for every ad shown on the site) it would also be hard to keep stable servers because the devs won’t any enough bandwidth. Meaning that imgflip would crash very often. - 🤓
