Personally I think he's gotten with his bosses over this stuff and is gradually helping them steer the company toward the center with injections of the truth every once in a while. Not enough to make leftists stop watching; but enough to make some Republicans -- as opposed to conservatives -- stop and say, "Hmmmm."

Yes, but since all too many Republican voters steer all too close to being borderline RINOS at times, it would not surprise me if some of this works on them.
