allow me to break it down for you.
let's start with ani. if you really look anakin as a whole (all the canon when he's anakin, not vader), all we really see from him is his trauma (ep 2, 3, and even clone wars), his mindset of being all that and the best thing ever, just because he's "the chosen one" who's known across the galaxy (clone wars mostly), for his lightsaber/hand-to-hand combat, which he prides himself on (not saying it's a bad thing, but from my perspective, it seems to be the thing he like to show off with). and it shouldn't (and generally isn't) what the jedi are known for. next, anakin's son. i stand by my statement of luke not being himself at ALL in the sequels. even mark hamill said something about it. i could be quoting him wrong, but he said something like, "that's not my luke." and i think he's right. sequels luke is not in any way the same person as originals luke. speaking of the sequels, they're up. i like them for what they are, but nine is absolute horse shit. and that's saying something. i used to think ep one was bad, but OMG. nine has no point, no plot, no character development. the only "point" it has is finishing off the sequels. when i first saw seven and eight, i liked them, and i still do. they sorta make sense. i liked the dialogue too. eight was funny. seven too sorta. but overall as movies using one word to describe them, seven, alright, eight, funny, nine, TRASH. y'know what else is trash? REY. MOTHERF**KING. PALPATINE. she has no personality, no likable character traits, no character development, and we're just supposed to accept she has at most, what, a year of training? and she's a "jedi"? like what the hell? also, she is not a skywalker. idfc. i ain't calling her a skywalker. and saving the best for last, leia and han. now i love leia, don't get me wrong. my problem is mostly han. and han, is han. he loves leia, yes, kylo (ben) too, but he made a choice to leave leia when ben went dark. i think that was a dick move and he could've been a better father and husband.
and that, was my "in depth analysis". thank you for your time.
