They also said prayers before going to bed, most of them attended a Sunday Church Service, prayed before meals, and encouraged prayer before school. Most of the founding fathers indeed were Christians. However, they didn't want the potential tyranny of the Roman Catholic Church butting up against their ideas for a New Government/Country.

So they wanted government to be government and church to be church - to keep potential theology from invading said government.

But this was an error in judgement. With the lack of a Christian guiding measure, a void of morality was present and it was filled with immorality. Now we have a government that exists simply to steal from it's citizens and line their own pockets. It's so immoral that the one guy that stood up to it? Well he was branded a criminal and all the stupid people in this country believed it. They believed it so much, that they elected a pedophile money launderer as President.

This is why we should have never pushed the various Christian items out of government and school systems. The year over year over year disappearence of these aspects are why the US is in such a mess.
