Every generation thinks the generation that came after them is terrible. Greatest generation hates the hippies (boomers), boomers hates gen x, gen x hates millennials, millenials hates gen z, gen z hates their successors, and on and on it goes. On the macro we're all shitty people so it stands to reason we're collectively shitty parents. What else would one expect?
