Cool, did you know that you can actually unlock super sonic or even hyper sonic in sonic 1?

how do I do that? I´ve never actually beaten the game. I have all the ones on my Sega genesis. thats all. but ive only made it to grass hills 3... because I F*cking suck at platformers...

It’s easy to do it on a phone, but idk how on the sega genesis, so first you have to go on no save mode, note that this will not work in a save file
Then quickly press the letters S, E, G, A, if you hear a ring collect sound effect you’re doing it correctly, then put and hold your fingers on the screen before sonic appears, and boom, you’ve got your phone stage select, now if you wanna be super sonic, first set the maximum chaos emeralds to 7, it won’t work with 6 unless you spawn an “S” monitor, enter 4, 1, 2, 6 to get all the emeralds instantly, enter it twice to be able to become hyper sonic, then select any stage, to turn hyper first you gotta get the 50 rings and jump twice as super sonic like you did when you wanted to turn super, actually i didn’t try the hyper sonic one and it might not work
