Yep the i9ssues are endless. I do like the idea, but until manufacturers can come up with a viable and safe option, they should give up whilst they are behind.
Initial cost. Some idle thoughts on EV's. Batt Power VS Combustion engines? Overpriced Government inspired fad? Restrictions on where to park. Environmental issues / still charged by Reliables. Threat to lives. Availability of cobalt / lithium etc? Recharge station availability? Battery disposal? VALUE FOR MONEY? Insurance costs. Cost to repair? Yarra Man; Range? Will sea transport be banned? Battery life / replacement times / issues? Time to recharge. Resale value?
