I love how every time conservatives try to (in some cases validly) criticize green energy or any attempts at being more ecologically conscious, they just end up highlighting how exploitive and unsustainable our economic system truly is.

Like yeah, those plastic trees probably were made by slave labor and cost several tons of carbon to ship them around the world. Now stop trying to convince me that western capitalism is a good economic model.
