It has indeed become twisted and diluted. The very name of it upsets people since it's named for the Messiah. Ad agencies help the corporations use it to tell the consumer what they must own. A rebellious world loves the holiday and hates the reason for it. Others scream that it takes place on the same day as something evil and idolatrous in history. I'm thinking something evil has taken place every day of the year in history. Even though a largely unbelieving world rejects God, Jesus, and why they are important, I use the season to try to reach someone. The world made this holiday important. I'm telling the world why. Always about planting seeds and praying some grow.
