Yes, but then again that is true of any major museum in any nation on Earth. What is beginning to happen, however, is that the governments are funding very sophisticated duplication technology so that essentially it's becoming impossible to detect the difference between the original and the fake by eye alone.
That done, many museums are now returning the originals to the countries of origins . . . or at least to those countries that have convinced them that they have both the means and the will to protect and preserve the originals . . . so . . . you know . . . not to governments controlled by culture spurning radicals.
