You have this kid who’s afraid of the animatronics, Evan Afton
So his brother, Micheal Afton, and his friends torment Evan over it
Which culminates in Michael and his friends shoving Evan in the mouth of Fredbear.
Killing him and starting their father, William Aftons, descent into insanity figuring out how Evan possessed Fredbear
Afterwards
Another location was opened by William
And it was with the intention to kill another child, so he could figure out how the whole soul possession of animatronics works
But it fails and kills his daughter, Elizabeth Afton
And he just loses his mind and kills 6 other children
Afterwards
The souls of the children attempt to get revenge on him, and they succeed
And William dies
And afterwards Williams former business partner and Williams remaining son lure all the animatronics into a trap
And burns them along with themselves
So that the memory of all that fades away
