To be completely fair, Shadow was frozen in stasis, not conscious, for fifty years. But then that leaves Sonic being sixteen and Shadow being 1 or 2, so that ain’t much better

Exactly. Shadow still hates Sonic’s guts, and they have some notable moral differences. But when push comes to shove, they’ll buckle down and work together for what they believe in

I also despise that Sega is currently pushing that “Shadow has no friends.” Like, in Sonic Heroes you see him legitimately bonding with the other members of team dark. A bond that continues and grows through 06. And you even see him connecting a little bit here and there with other characters, like Silver or Amy. Shadow has friends, he just isn’t cheesy about it like Sonic. He shows his care for them through ACTION rather than words.

Slightly off topic, but I’m honestly glad Shadow was excluded from Frontiers. I want them to make sure my boy is written well, and only included when guys presence adds something to the experience
