Whatever the reason, Hamas is still an existential threat to the Israeli people. They MUST be annihilated if the Israeli people are ever to live in peace.
They are a threat to anyone who disagrees with them, Israelis and Palestinians alike. There is no alternative in the long run. They must be permanently removed.
