Khodyt:
“Annbitar, you are so annoying. The void that was death was more bearable than you.” Trakhsis said at full volume
“All I am asking for,” Annbitar began. “Is a thank you gift”
“They were my bodyguard since the war in heaven, the answer is no, it will always be no, nothing but no.” Trakhsis contemplated shooting him.
Annbitar tried to press forwards but Harkhum made things very clear when the guass blaster started to light up. Their walk only being interrupted by the occasional bursts of gun fire. Each step they took brought them closer to the familiar safety of the green glow of their kin. But the gun fire bursts only ever got louder. Tamo can’t be much furth now can he? Necron influence must of taken over this sector by now.
As Harkhum rounding past a corner, she dropped down at a speed no mortal could match and opened fire. Soon a semi familiar voice called out, thanking them. As both necron commanders also rounded they found Thanakh and Tonomekh croching behind some rubble. A handful of warriors too.
“Get down before they see you!” Tonomekh spat with pure urgency.
As if on queue a fresh burst of fire clear over the rubble just managing to graze Trakhsis. Annbitar already became pure energy and left. Doing Ca’tan knows what. Trakhsis and his immortals already found their own cover. His mind racing with thousands of different strategies that could be employed. None seems efficient.
Trakhsis was about to begin asking a question before Thanakh cut in- “yes, yes. Warp no, and they ambushed us what’d you’d expect. These are the last of the cohort,” A vague gesture to the remaining warriors. “Their number is currently unknown.”
“The cube told you all my questions?” trakhsis asked, he took the silence for a yes. “A known direction?”
Thanakh replied. “What in the void dragons name are you planning?”
“If you don’t,” Trakhsis began. “then we’ll have to sacrifice all our remaining warriors. If only Annbitar was still here to help”
Tonomekhs’ cloak was shining with green electrical energy, his focus on it entirely. Until he understood the plan. The warriors weren’t in range anyway, their only dead wait; can always be repaired later. He released control of them, handing control over to Thrakhsis. This situation couldn’t get anymore F**ked up. Thanakh protested loudly, making his hate and rage clear.
