I do understand your thinking, but some would blame the site moderators a lot, even if it is a good idea.

But I am sure majority of the members would just find a new sh*tpost stream for posting stuff

I suppose that it is the site moderators' fault. Then again, if it wasn't for the sitemods, wouldn't MSMG be posting-disabled?
