One big flaw in the human fabric is that you can see others bad behavior before you can see yours.

Yes, but we've learned to believe that any negative interaction is a personal attack, so when we recognize those flaws and then someone attributes them to us, we are quick to forget about constructive criticism and immediately start fighting back in "self defense."

I won't say that I've never been like that (it would be a blatant lie), but I hope that I've at least learned from when I was a teen, when I was ALWAYS on the defensive even if nothing was attacking me.
I think I was just so insecure about all my flaws. I really wanted to become nearly "flawless" so I wouldn't bother or hurt people, but I've just learned to accept myself in the end.
And it was worth it.

Accepting yourself as flawed is a good thing as it's impossible to be perfect when you're human... but not thinking you can be better is even worse, especially if you attack anyone who has a problem with your imperfection. That's what's annoying about people today, is that they want to stand out as much as possible, and attack anyone who thinks they should improve themselves.

People in the digital age forgot what "constructive criticism" is, so now everyone's an activist instead of a human.
