As I am getting better and better at photography every day, and I hope to become a professional amatuer, I will give you some helpful critique and flower photography tips. I will also try to keep in mind that you likely used a phone to take this.

Critique
- First off, I think this is an excellent photo that you took. The colors are great and you have some good background blur. I think a way you could make this even better though is if you tried a really close-up photo of the main flower, or what we call a "fill-the-frame" shot in photography. This would be if you want to center the focus of attention on just that part, since it's a stylistic opinion and it's your taste in what you like to do.

Tips for Flower Photography
- When I am taking photos of flowers with my camera I usually use my pop-up flash with a -1 2/3 exposure (not too bright but also not underexposing the photo since it's being exposed by the flash either way. If you are using a phone you won't have a pop-up flash and you can't change the exposure, but I would recommend using it if you didn't in this photo.

- Try to find a background that isn't as complicated (again, it's up to you when it comes to what looks the best) This would be especially great if you are going for a simplistic approach, kinda like this picture of an apple that I took that I'll attach here.

- Make sure you have good lighting, unless you are trying to do a certain style. For me I usually use flash to illuminate flowers that I take, even if it's in sunlight, since that's what works best for me. You can easily get away with just sunlight, but if you want to take flower photos when you don't have good light try to use your flash or a flashlight/strobe light to illuminate your subject and get better quality photos.

- Try using backlight to make the flowers "glow" (illuminated by the light in the background that is shining onto the back of the flowers.

If you have any more questions please feel free to let me know and I would be happy to answer them, or if you just wanna talk abt photography stuff then I would be happy to do that as well ;)

No,no,no. There is never a reason to use the pop up flash in 'art' photography.

I'll tell ya this from experience:

-Try macro shots.
-Get a camera with a big sensor but over 10MP.
-HDR and XDR cameras work the best.
-Use "Vivid"/"Dynamic"/"Natural" modes instead of "Standard".
-.jepg files are okay, but try out .png or better: .heic (.heif is the same thing here) files.
-DO NOT TAKE PICS ON PHONE, despite the company's claims.
-Turn Gridmap on. It'll help ya (4 points), like a LOT.
-The lighting should be quite bright, but NOT too much. Also, lower the exposure by ≈25%.

Hope this helps ya ;) !
