All religion is totalitarian. I get that we can agree about each of the Ten Commandments, but for people to think God can tell them what to do? It's authoritarian to enforce, even if it's "right" or "just".
And then people are threatened with the chance of going to Hell for not obeying. Bitch please, it's just the f**king same as government. And people wonder why we want the separation of church and state; it's because there should never be a consolidation of such powers.
"Bury plates" this, "sin" that, it's just tons of excuses to control people like puppets.
